The radial needle roller and cage assembly is a self-retaining rolling unit. The long space between two guidance face is easy for both guiding the needle roller accurately and choose reasonable position. The type is recommened to use when the shaft and housing bores are as raceway. The needle roller and cage assemblies provide rolling bearing arrangements with high accuracy within low radial section height.

When the needle roller and cage assemblies are operated between axis and shell, the radial clearance is determined by the tolerance of axis and shell's raceway shaft and the housing bore must be designed as rolling bearing raceway. If the dimension of housing bore is G6, the shaft's tolerance is recommended as Table 2.

In order to the radial needle roller bearing and cage assembly meet with the load capacity, the hardness of raceway should not less than 58~64HRC, the depth of hardened surface should be 0.6~1mm and roughness(Ra) mustn't over 0.2μm.
